Google joins the ‘kill-IE6’ campaign

If Google had taken its own advice, it might have avoided Chinese hackers

Please for the love of all thing security. If you are still using IE6 STOP!!!. This is the most unsecure browser out there.
Do this today: 1) Upgrade your IE6 to IE8, easily done through windows update. 2) Download either Firefox or Google Chrome browsers and set one of those as your default browser. 3) Delete the shortcut off your desktop for IE so you won’t be tempted to use it.
The next thing is to please use some common sense when using the internet. Do not open email from people you don’t know, but if you do “DO NOT” click any of the links in email. All it takes is to go to one phishing site and now your identity is now someone else’s.
One more thing. “DO ALL YOUR WINDOWS UPDATES!!!!!!“. There’s no real reason to install the “Optional” updates but there is every reason in the world to install all the important and recommended updates.
Ok people let’s get this under control and dump the IE6 and stop using IE all together.
